Pay: The position will start at $16+ per hour (depending on experience).

Hours: Full time

We are looking for a hard-working multi-tasker with a positive I-CAN-DO-IT attitude who can handle dynamic pace and works well under pressure while making sure the job gets done in a most efficient way to meet our ongoing goals of exceptional customer service every time. Ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully training and leading (small – medium size) teams and creatively managing and troubleshooting various projects. CRI is a group of fun, friendly and hard-working people.

Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) will report directly to the Operations Manager (OM).

Expected AOM responsibilities will be:

  • Assist Operations Manager in supervising daily operations of organization.
  • Address operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Supervising a team of employees and helping with ongoing training process, potentially screening new candidates.
  • Monitors Daily Truck Reports that are created by drivers and addressing/troubleshooting related issues. Report truck service issues to OM.
  • Supervising washing crew and container quality control and leading the team towards set standards. Troubleshooting container washing related issues including container repairs.
  • When working with the drivers: unloading the food scraps at the compost facility, removing contamination when necessary, recording notes from customers and weights in & out at the compost facility. making sure the truck is kept clean and has gas.
  • Flexible and available for daily responsibilities, may require overtime hours.
